Sr. Communications Specialist, OnPoint Community Credit Union
I assist in the implementation of OnPoint Community Credit Union’s comprehensive communications strategy, specifically related to public relations.
I manage public relations activities, which includes developing and editing press releases, talking points, contributed articles and quotes for the media and community partners for OnPoint representatives.
In my first year in this role, I sincreased OnPoint's broadcast news media coverage by 50%.
I also serve as a key contributor in executing OnPoint media partnership initiatives and work closely with various departments across OnPoint as well as external partners to manage campaign deadlines and deliverables.
November 2019 - January 2024
Internal Communications Specialist, OnPoint Community Credit Union
I communicated company news and policies to a team of more than 1,000 employees on behalf of the Executive Team and CEO to educate and engage staff. I supported departments across the organization in developing and strategizing employee communications that cover a wide range of topics including fundraising campaigns, company events and operational updates.
I also assisted my colleagues on the Marketing team by providing proofing, editing, brainstorming and writing support on external-facing content including press releases, advertisements and blog posts. See right for a preview of OnPoint's 2022 Community Impact Report, for which I wrote the copy and gave creative direction to our outside agency.
June 2017 - November 2019
Product Copywriter, Hanna Andersson
I oversaw the product copy for all apparel styles on the website to encourage sales and tell brand story. I also wrote copy for company catalogs and retail collateral including store signage and tags. I also took over the generation of website copy, emails, and advertisements, as well as supporting the creation of a creative style guide.

Marketing Copywriter, Love With Food
I revamped and managed the company blog, email newsletters, website copy, social media post copy, and pretty much whatever other word-y content was needed. I also helped develop new creative strategies and represented the company at food trade shows around the country.

One of the best moments of my life - when I met Sarah Michelle Gellar while working a food show representing Love With Food. As you can see I was so starstruck I forgot to look into the camera.

Content Editor, Movoto Real Estate
I managed a team of freelance writers to maintain a monthly calendar of travel and culture-related blogs about cities around the country to drive traffic to the company website. I also learned more about New Jersey than I will ever need to know. And I got a crash course in video production!

March 2013 - December 2013
Editorial Intern/Fact-Checker, Sunset Magazine
I fact-checked and copy edited content in every section of the monthly issues and the Visit California travel guides. I also helped rewrite copy as needed. On top of copy responsibilities, I assisted staff with editorial tasks as needed, including ordering supplies and interviewing sources.
